Hello, my name is Jim Allen. I am a Mortgage Loan Originator for Smith Broady & Associates Inc.  Born in Ohio and lived there for first part of my life. I served in the US Navy on the USS Abraham Lincoln, a ballistic submarine. After  my time with the Navy enrolled at The Ohio State University and earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with major in accounting.

After graduation I worked in the telecommunication industry for nearly 40 years, with Sprint/T-Mobile and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Cash Manager (CCM). I moved to Kansas City area about 20 years ago and now a big Chiefs fan. I moved to South Golf Cove in Port Charlotte Florida in 2022. Now with Smith Broady & Associates.

I look forward to being able to help friends and family, fellow veterans and new friends/clients achieve their homeownership goals by finding the mortgage product that work best for them. I know these decisions are difficult and can be stressful. My goal is to make it a pleasant experience for you!

I am a member of the Moose, VFW and the American Legion. I love the water including fishing and cruising and play golf occasionally. My wife, Tammy and I have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. +
