Gage Thurman - Loan Officer in Jeffersonville, IN

Hello, my name is Gage Thurman IV. I am a Mortgage Loan Originator for Smith Broady & Associates Inc. I am originally from the Louisville area and went to high school in Jasper, Indiana. After high school, I enlisted in The United States Navy. Being a veteran is one of my prouder accomplishments. Helping fellow veterans achieve homeownership and assisting them in the utilization of The Veterans Administration Loan is something I particularly enjoy. I am also an avid sports fan, having attended the University of Louisville I became a diehard Cardinals fan!!

Upon finishing my military obligation I moved back to Louisville to attend college. While attending college I began bartending on the side. Bartending opened my eyes to how much I enjoy working with people and how much I value the ability to make people smile. It (bartending) is still a hobby I have to this day. Taking my passion for helping others and combining it with my college background in finance; mortgage lending is my dream job. Not many people can say they like their job, and finding a career I love is a true blessing.

For me being a loan officer isn’t just about finding financing for potential homeowners, it is about building lifetime friendships and bonds. Earning the trust of a buyer and showing that them allowing me to be a part of something so important; is truly an honor and privilege.
